James, evidently some K’s have this “herringbone” texture. We have a page on it here:

Not that I would spend a $1000 on a center console…

But I noted one on eBay and looked at the photos. The aluminum looked like it had a dot texture in it. None of the five 300K’s I have owned had that.

Can anyone enlighten me on this?
