hi , I bought 4 11” drums from John , for 58 dodge but I had said mopar to him . What came I thought were 40’s drums as tapped holes not studs . I thought he screwed up . Big surprise , more checking , unbelievablyPlymouth 57-59 ( only Plymouth ) used tapped drums with bolts to hold wheel on . I never touched a Plymouth , big soft spot for 57 fury and white 59 sport fury convert . Chrysler must have had tapped hubs left over or something — used up on plymouths? and the drums are permanently attached like stud drums . Drums themselves he said were never turned , but unbelievably rusty etc .from sitting , need refurbishing , but really good raw material . I paid over 400 plus ship was going to send back over rusty condition and wrong for dodge — right now I am going to let it pass. Don’t want to toss drums out but a hassle to do otherwise is involved . How about 150 plus shipping , if you have a plymouth . .11” 57-59 are getting harder to find than our 12.. trust me. They look to be a 2” setup , much confusion in 57 - 59 about 2 or 2.5 “ , I believe either will fit on car with shoes and backing plates , and someone told me 2.5 drums work with 2” shoes . Maybe someone can clear that up ? ???? 2” with six , ? or maybe on rear with 2.5 fronts ? Don’t know . This was my fault , but don’t want to burden him either . A good guy . jkg Sent from my iPhone -- For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Chrysler 300 Club International" group.
