Pulling the drivetrain out of our ’62 NY Wagon; now that the ’62 300 Sport is back on the road. (Sort of)--Ready to yank the engine & trans out together once we remove the Parking Brake Cable from the transmission at the drum.I have read the service manual on how to remove.- Dust Shield is off.- External Cable Clamp has been fully loosened.- But….Popping the Ball End of the Cable OUT from the Operating Lever is...well….not happening.Who has helpful hints?- It is STRONGLY advised to remove the Transmission Cross Member to better access the Ball End of the Cable inside the drum?- Pop (or pry) it out with a flathead screwdriver?Any other hints?Any Do’s or Dont’s?Thanks!Matt Allyn
