I won’t be there so you will have to figure out what he is talking about but obviously it has to do with our location and the parking of our cars.Last Wednesday I was hospitalized with a general shutdown of most of my organs. I was in the ICU for three days and have been on a normal floor since Saturday night. I am recovering and am no longer considered critical but it was apparently touch and go for awhile. They got my lungs cleared and my other organs are now functioning normally. I’m hoping to get out of here in a day or two but Carlislevwill be out of the question. Hope you all enjoy yourselves and that it isn’t too hot. Better check to see where they put us this year.Regards ,PeteBegin forwarded message:

I just wanted to reach out with a quick update for this year’s show. First, if you haven’t seen, there were some adjustments to the Showfield layout this year so PLEASE check your club tent location in the table below. These changes were necessary due to the growth of the show and there were some other logistical reasons that helped justify the changes.
Also, please be aware of the Club Rules this year. They were sent to every club with the Club Tent Form and you were required to sign to acknowledge that you read, understand and agree with the rules. One of the more important rules is NOT parking at your club tent. We just don’t have the space at this show. If you look at a map, you’ll see that the classes go right up to the club tents. Therefore, if you park next to your tent, that class loses at least one space (more if you park crooked and/or have other members park near your tent). When this happens, that class fills up before all of the cars for that class are in. Then those cars that don’t fit are forced to park in another class, then that class fills up and it continues on down the line (domino effect). If you need to drop off supplies at your club tent, please do so as early and quickly as possible then park your car in its correct class.
Another important club tent rule is that parking vehicles under a club tent is not allowed. The purpose of the club tents is for the people to gather. We want everyone to have a great time at the show and following the rules will help with that. I have attached a copy of the rules. Please read them again and share them with your members.
We have added even more activities to the show this week. Just yesterday we announced that Buddy Martin will be at the show and so will the new Demon 170!! You can get all of the show details on our website here: https://carlisleevents.com/events/events-detail/index?id=chrysler+nationals
Other than that, plan to have a great time next week. If you’re in town on Thursday, please stop by the Mopar Rebellion Kick-Off to Carlisle held directly across the street outside of Gate 3 at the Carlisle Expo Center. Mopar Rebellion is the local Mopar club in Carlisle and this is one of their big fund raisers for the year.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out but keep in mind that I will be VERY busy starting on Monday.
Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone next week!!
