--So the machine shop showed me the cracks in the water jacket areas of the original 413 from my 300K. They don't want to fix it. I'm torn between giving them the other 413 I have or just building a 440. The 440 is way more common and has numerous piston choices and will hide neatly below the short rams. I really believe the Rams operate best if they are on an original engine with original carbs and camshaft. Am I wrong?I was really hoping to build a 413 using an original ram engine cam. I seem to recall someone was reproducing the J/K camshaft?Looking for recommendations. I've had this car 33 years and want to make sure it's user-friendly for the next generation and perish the thought... I've had a brand new factory Gen III Hemi sitting in the corner for ten years. I've been imagining it painted torquoise with a gold intake.Help me out here...Mike Laiserin
