Hi Darrin,Nice catch. Scott Lindsey is the owner of the C. He was a club member until last year. The car has been known since 1975 in club records, but has not been listed for sale recently. Scott is at least the 4th owner by our records.3N573932.GloriaOn Thu, Jul 20, 2023 at 4:16 PM Darrin Bailey <dpbaileysr@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:This past weekend was Chryslers at Carlisle and was enjoyed by all. One interesting find was a fellow advertising numerous and rare 1970-1971 muscle cars for sale and at the bottom of the page was this listing:--1957 Chrysler 300C 399 Special Order 390HP Package, Stick Shift. Price-Please InquireSo I had to inquire and after a long conversation and pictures of the car per his phone, find out it is a Gauguin Red Coupe from Idaho now in his collection in Oklahoma. It is original paint, with a few bubbles showing but represented overall rust free. Original owner for over 50 years prior, engine redone, but not finished. Many extra parts come with the car. So after 15 minutes of talking, the magic number is $150,000. Bring a Trailer anyone?Too rich for me, but I thought I would pass it along. Maybe someone else can rescue this one and finish it properly. Just wondering if anyone else has heard of the car and its history?Owner was Scott at 405-203-4441 and email at pentastarcars@xxxxxxx
