A bad condenser most often presents itself with lots of backfiring through the exhaust.
My hunch is this is no ignition problem but rather a hung up needle and seat in one of those carbs. You might have gotten some dirt in there, it doesn't take much at all. Given your symptoms and that you report having spark. Give both carbs a good stiff wrap with a plastic screwdriver handle and try again.
