Good Evening Everyone,
The Museum of the Pacific War charges $12 each admission for groups like ours.
The Museum has three
sections. The Bush Gallery is all about the war in the Pacific from
beginning to end. The average time to get through this gallery without reading
everything takes about one and a half to two hours. The Nimitz Gallery
is all about Admiral Nimitz’s life and legacy and takes about thirty to
forty-five minutes. He was born in Fredericksburg so that is why the museum is
here. The Pacific Combat Zone is down the street from the
Bush Gallery on Austin Street. It has a PT Boat, TBM Avenger Torpedo
Bomber and the amphitheater where our reenactments are conducted. This takes
about thirty minutes and is open from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Wednesday to Monday.
Both the Bush Gallery and Nimitz Gallery are open from 9:00 to 5:00 Wednesday to
Monday.
Please have SAFE travels!!!
See you soon!
