hi , no not at headlight at all . and not 12 v it is a pulsating voltage , 12v goes to regulator off the ignition “ on” power ( headlight power  is on all the time) then after that to each gauge pulsing , except amps .

do other gauges work ? if so nothing wrong there — it is gas gauge wiring . 

ground the wire at tank for a few seconds ( if others work ) gas should go up to full or more ( why a few seconds ) if it does it is float system or no tank ground . 

do not ground any wires around gauge you can blow up stuff . At senders only

Pick up the Packard connector tool off of eBay for a few bucks. I did and it worked fine.

Is there a semi easy way to remove the wires from this connector and swap out a bad one on the car?  Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

PS-I am suddenly not getting 12v to the gas gauge/Temp gauge and I fear that a bad connection at the headlight connector may be the problem, but I can’t be sure.
