Hi Bob While not the best way, I just use a steel tape measure across the tyres front and rear or run a string line from behind the rear tyres. Both ways are a bit dodgy but cost nothing and are pretty close if you compensate for errors. You can monitor the performance or just use it like I do to get to a wheel alignment shop without squealing down the road after a front end repair. I have seen some toe adjustment tools on line made from steel plates etc but the only tool I have only bought is a $20 camber/caster gauge. They are surprisingly good but I only used it on my two disc brake cars where I can stick the magnetic base on the disc - one through the holes in the wheel and on the inside of the disc on the other without a dust shield. Might be able to stick it to the end of the spindle on the 300 (with the grease cap off) but haven't tried. All I want to do is set the toe in. I don't want to mess with caster or camber. I see all sorts of toe-in tools at all sorts of prices, so would like guidance.
