James – Have you tried Restoration Specialties in Windber, PA ? On my 59 Dodge, I was fighting with the door seal that I got from Gary Goers years ago, which QQD now sells. It was just too dense to be usable. The doors would stick out. I tried Restoration Specialties and their stuff had a lot more ‘give’ to it. Doors closed a lot better in my tests, but I may still have to remove some material from the seal to get the doors to close perfectly. Ron From: 'James Douglas' via Chrysler 300 Club International Can someone with a ’63 or ’64 give me a reality check on the side seals? I took the examples QQD sent me and read over Gary’s old catalog. Based on that and what I see, it appears that the horizontal section uses the “W15” seal and from the angle down into the body uses the “W13” seal. Can anyone who had done one lately and pulled the seals out and replaced confirm that for me? I can pull up the tail of the W13 seal and it does match the QQD W13 seal. The horizontal seal however I do not want to pull out until I am ready to replace it. Remember, daily driver and it is going to rain soon. Looks like 18 inches on each side of W13 and 36 inches on each side of W15. Looking for some confirmation before I order it on Monday. I need to take it out so I can also pull the chrome to get the headliner out.
