Kurt, I installed an electric fuel pump in my F. I tapped into the rear window defroster wiring in the trunk. I only use the pump to "top off" the carburetor and then turn it off so the defroster is not used much. This way I do not have to crank a long time after the car is setting idle for a long time. So if you have the defroster, this is a solution. Besides, you do not have to run a wire all the way from pump to the Astradome. Good luck.
