Jim, any time I have a brake system apart for major repair I convert it to DOT 5. This is the way to go for any car that sees occasional use. Of 9 the 300-F, 61 Savoy and a 65 Corvette are on DOT 5. The Corvette since 2012 the Savoy since 2007. All 3 systems brand new inside. Never a leak never a problem. DOT 5 requires careful, patient bleeding and pouring from a carefully handled non agitated container. Otherwise no better stopping juice for our big old largely stationary cars. Getting time for me to make a decision. To me it boils down to (pun intended) to DOT 4 LMA or DOT 5. I don't think our old Chryslers really need to worry about boiling temps so its more about moisture accumulation, compatibility with rubber parts and perhaps compressibility. So... curious what everyone is using (including brands if so inclined) and general thoughts. Let the games begin :) Jim
