James, I ran into the same problem. Check with Inline Tube, they may offer the correct replacement. Bob J From: 'James Douglas' via Chrysler 300 Club International <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Has anyone else had a problem when purchasing rear drum brake cables from NAPA? I picked up a set and when I went to place them into the hole in the backing plate, they were not only a loose fit in the hole, but the retaining clip would also pop out when wiggled and the cable would drop out of the plate. The locking ring they use is flimsy and it appears that in manufacturing they did not peen the edges into the machines groove. One I suppose would need a special die for that. I tried to tap them to ben into the groove with a very small punch without any luck. Anyone had this issue?
