The axle backing plate uses what appear to be tall center nylocks. The old school version where there is a little hole inside a square stamped into the nut and a nylon insert is pressed in. It grabs in the middle of the nut not the end. It is tall like a “heavy nut” but not the next size up wrench wise. So it is not a “true” heavy hex nut. Anyone know if anybody is making these? I can reuse the old ones, or I can just use some heavy hex modern stainless nylocks if they will fit.
