{Chrysler 300} 1962 Torqueflight Finish

Had my transmission rebuilt.

It came back in gun metal grey.

Almost as if it were a WWII ship item!

I wire-wheeled some of the paint off.

Did these aluminum Torqueflights leave the factory au natural?

Or were they sprayed with an aluminum paint finish?
