That may be what it's worth but that wasn't my concern.  I don't like the colour either. My doubt was whether the person listing it was actually the owner or someone trying to scam.  Just trying to judge how common that may be these days.  I could take photos like that at any cars and coffee.  Would be different if it had photos on a hoist, photo of the Title etc....

Keep in mind that this is a 4dr HT. Not a 2dr HT. Also, not a very attractive color, IMHO. So 30K might be a little high, IMHO.

I looked at the listing and would like to know as an overseas observer if scamming is still a thing on US Craiglist.  I don't want to buy the car but it could appear to be a "bargain" that someone might buy sight unseen.

It struck me as odd that someone would post photos from a shopping centre car park like they had come randomly across the car and the owner was there to get coffee.  Also you can see from the reflection in the windscreen a for sale sign that looks like the asking price is $69,000.  That's a massive drop to the $30,000 now being asked by an owner who just happens to urgently need the money for back surgery...

While I bought my 300C sight unseen I took precautions including using Escrow to only transfer the money when the car was confirmed on the tow truck.  Also, the ad was posted on the Club website - not Craigslist.  All worked out in that case but I just thought this ad had a smell to it.  I would definitely want see this one in the flesh or have a friend inspect before even considering it.
