{Chrysler 300} Lore?

Hello, everyone:

Recently, I was asked if I found the serial no. that was stamped somewhere on the frame of the car, somewhere near the right rear wheel.

While I had the body off the frame, I looked for the number when I hand sanded the entire frame.  Parts of it had noticeable rust but not enough to obliterate any stamping.

The question still remains so I did some research on-line with no results. One such site offered a search window. I entered the serial no. for my E and it came back as a '59 Corvette C1.

I also checked the engine as some models had the serial number of the car stamped on it. Nothing there, either.

Did I miss something?

Best,
Ron
