Hi all: Years ago, when I was restoring my F, a friend of ours, who was a big wig in Fuji Heavy Industries in Japan, offered to take the 2 side bezels back to his company and have them rechromed. About 2 months later, I received them back and they looked brand new. He told me they would never corrode again as the chroming process was done in a vacuum. Over 25 years later they still look new. Unfortunately, he is retired now so I have lost this source for rechroming.
