{Chrysler 300} 300g Transmission lines and filter

Hello, I’m putting the last bits on the G and I ran into a snag on the transmission cooler lines.  Should I put an inline filter in the line or just connect the lines and then connect to the cooler?  When I put an inline filter the line was too long.

I purchased stainless lines from inline tube, the G did not have the stock lines on it when took it apart.

I put a couple of pics below of my situation.  Are there different repop lines I could buy?

It’s a stock 61 torqueflite.

Thanks for any help on this.

Mike
