This comes up every year. I have successfully repaired leaking shift cables with quality heat shrink tube and  'Buna' o rings. Also route cable away from exhaust pipe or shield from the heat. Rick

Anyone have a line on transmission cables for the push button system in a 63. I’m working on leaks. They work fine but leak.
