RE: {Chrysler 300} fuel and trans lines

I inserted the tube from the front and used a couple of screw drivers through the side holes on the frame. Then got under the tube and raised to the height of the rear hole and walked it to where I could reach it with small needle nose pliers.

Hi all,

This is a good time to address the subject I had a problem with a while back.

I was always noticing a pool of gasoline beneath my F.  Finally traced it to the hole where the gas line enters the frame beneath the right rear seat.  Apparently, over the years with all the vibrations, the gas line rubbed against the hole in the frame and eventually wore a hole in it.  My temporary solution was to pull the line to the rear about 3/4", smear some rubber in a tube on the line and force some into the hole in the frame.  Then I pulled the flex hose forward far enough to cover the hole in the line so that it also covers the rubber in a tube.

I will eventually install a new line but I cannot figure how to insert the line in the frame as the holes are several feet apart and not much larger than the gas line.  Any suggestions?
