--I thought I would pass on this video that popped up on my YouTube browsing. I don’t know how YouTube knows what I am thinking https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBgoPFhHMFA
A few weeks ago we took out the 65 Mustang and lifting the car cover showed mould stains on the white convertible roof. I haven’t had much luck cleaning the vinyl with various products before so I was a bit peeved.
Anyway, after watching the video today I took a few lemons off our tree and found it works just as described. It even lifted some of the marks in the folds that I haven’t been able to get out before. I also used a microfiber cloth the rub into the grain and seams and finished off with a wet rag. Maybe this will be of use to some of you.
Might have to get another car cover that breathes better... The car is in a covered garage but we have had unusually hot and wet weather for months. Humid air must be getting trapped between the cover and roof.
Cheers
Henry
