I have a theoretical question for the group. Is there any reason one could not use and “in-line” thermostat housing in the upper radiator hose as opposed to the one in the housing? I am considering one for two reasons. (Obviously not stock).
The first reason is that it is a PITA to get to the thermostat under the RV2 A/C Compressor.
The Second is that I need a secondary place to put a temperature sending unit. Using one of Meziere block adaptors I could drill and tap it for a second sender. They also have a neck that already has two side ports, but it uses an AN hose.
But I could place an AN to slip adaptor on that. Other than not stock, can anyone see a technical cooling reason this would be an issue?
