J and K heat pipes have flanges welded to each end and require 4 gaskets per set
F and G pipes only have one flange each, the other end split and expanded a bit to fit over the exhaust pipe stubs.
J/K pipes will had a 4 bolt flange that will also need a gasket.
Bob Merritt has the gaskets.
I have some flanges left over from when I made some sets back what, 40-45 years ago?
One can fab a set but you will have to have an engine on a stand w/headers installed or correct exhaust manifolds installed on it.
Good luck, you are gonna need it!
I have these installed on my F only because I did not have the correct stuff, (manifolds or exhaust)t I did have the J/K setup so used that, they are still on the car.

Coolant heated from a G means the very rare 400HP optional setup. But different heat pipes than J and ramK. The F/G/H 400HP-405HP headers were different as well.

I have a piece from a set, purchased some years ago, with Mopar sticker. The G we were working on had coolant heated ram manifolds.
Hi Nick,
You could block off the ports and run without the risers, for awhile, certainly for engine break in/testing/sorting, the rams will be ok, but better to have the support if the car will see a lot of driving.
It has been discussed/debated before, but you could also leave the heat blocked once risers are in place in your temperate SoCal climate.
Also, the header support brackets should be installed, and we have a template to facbricate those on the web page.

Subject {Chrysler 300} 300J/300K ram heat riser pipes
Bit by bit, I'm getting the parts back for my ram 300K. A few days ago, the previous owner agreed to sell me the original engine. No ram parts though but there is still hope.
One thing I didn't see in the parts he got with the car originally were the heat riser pipes that go from the exhaust headers to the intakes. I see that they aren't available although a club member had them made in the past. A new friend with a 300J needs
them as well.
If you can't get them, do you just block off the ports and do without? I know they also provide some support for the intake manifolds so that might not be a viable option. I contacted a couple exhaust places and they can't try to make them without examples.
The bending templates they use to make exhaust systems don't exist for the heat risers.
Thanks for any feedback.
Nick
