i wonder , on things like this ( almost weekly now) we could see if it has a club history ? much better screen than hearsay or even looking .. get the real history ? we have some info on most of the 300’s ? In the early days we had a detailed paper evaluation form we filled out ,— I still have quite a few, when club was small and this was practical we had a common repository , I think Gloria dud a great jog on it , way too much now. ones I have are random copies , many of them (15?) of cars that long ago passed on, -/ I barely remember . Prevents fakes too , although that died down. — maybe could be on line somehow now ? Some software package for club ? we each fill out about our cars filed by year and vin? Bulletproof provenance and status info results I have a home grown excel thing for mine, status titles where from etc etc etc my daughter helped me , i cannot do it . We felt it was getting out if control without it , not just Chryslers You would be surorised , it takes 10 vertical text columns per vin that way And Excel not as good as the old paper form , which had 1-5 ranking of hundreds of details (imho ) but Excel easy to check Also now rigorous policy , small book in each car , what was done when , past issues, quirks ( like gas gauge vs actual , etc) Also color coded now , some Excel boxes show as tentative , needs more , info missing , wrong , etc Just observation.. skewers crooks too flipping wrecks .
