{Chrysler 300} Louisiana Spring Meet - May 2025

Hey Everyone!

The registration deadline is fast approaching, and if you are still on the fence about making the trip down South, to help tip the scales, I’ve got some exciting events in and around the Lafayette area that might just turn your “maybe” into a resounding “Let’s GEAUX!

First up, right before our meet (April 23-27), you’ll find Louisiana’s largest and most famous festival—Festival International de Louisiane! This celebration is packed with food, music, and art, with vendors from all over the world. It’s a great way to soak up the culture, and you won’t want to miss it! Check out the details here: Festival International

Then, during our meet (May 2-4), you can catch the 50th annual Crawfish Festival in Breaux Bridge, just 15 minutes from our hotel! This festival is an absolute must—local music, vibrant dancing, mouth-watering crawfish, and unique vendors make it a true taste of Louisiana. Learn more at: Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival

If you have a little more time, we highly recommend a trip to the National WWII Museum in New Orleans, just a couple of hours east of Lafayette. It’s an incredible, world-class experience spread across six buildings, and you could easily spend a full day or two exploring. It’s a must-see for history buffs, and if you do plan to visit, let Mark or me know—we’d be happy to share some local tips to help make your trip even better!

A few of you have also asked about Civil War sites in the area. There isn't much to see directly in Lafayette, but if you’re driving in on I-49, there are some interesting spots further north in Louisiana. Feel free to email me your travel route, and I can suggest a few historical stops along the way!

We hope these exciting activities will help you make that final decision to register and join us! Our plans are coming together beautifully, and the Tabasco facility and Rip Van Winkle Gardens are looking absolutely stunning for the start of spring.

As we say in Louisiana: “Come Early, Stay Late, and Come Pass A Good Time!” We can’t wait to see you soon!
