Hi John Normally you see studs going up into the intakes as you have. Then bolts into the exhaust manifolds. That way you don’t have this situation. If it were me I’d use a couple jamb nuts on the intake studs to completely remove them. If you want to eventually replace the studs on your exhaust manifolds I believe the thread is 5/16-18. One inch long. I’ll double check. D&K
