{Chrysler 300} 1962 Neutral Safety Switch

Before I reinstall my Neutral Safety Switch into the rebuilt Torqueflight….

Would anyone recommend any version of cleaning it where its plunger plunges?

Should I explore spraying it out with brake cleaner?

Or just wipe it all down & thread it in, per the shop manual adjustment instructions?
