There is no physical connection between the engine and the output shaft on an 61 Torqueflite. With the parking brake off the car will roll. Something else is the problem.

Hi all, my 61 300 has had a small engine fire. I need to get the car into neutral to move it, the cables (buttons) don't seem to be working. Anyone have advice or a quick walkthrough on how to get the transmission into neutral?
