{Chrysler 300} Fwd: Disty pics single vs dual point

Single point is on the right, installed in engine.  Dual point is on the left.  Starting with the mounting screw visible on the left side of the vacuum canister, look further left and you’ll see the wire on the single point unit, and the corresponding post for the wire on the dual point.  Looking further left again, you’ll see a screw on both distributors.  This screw on the dual point unit holds the clip for the cap, but on the single point unit it does ‘nothing’.  The clip holding the cap down on the single point unit is further to the left (behind the heater hoses) thus ‘offset’ by one post on the cap.  If you move wires from one distributor to the other based on the location of the hold down clip, you’ll be off by one post.  If you use the screw referenced earlier, you’ll get it right, but will appear offset with respect to the cap hold down clips.
Always opportunities to learn more.

The four steps of the Cloward-Piven Strategy: 1. Overload and Break the System 2. Have Chaos Ensue 3. Take Control in the Chaos
4. Implement Socialism/Communism through Government Force
I know progressives: you want to change the entire world but never yourselves.
