Glad to hear they found out what the problems are and they're able to fix them I hope you start feeling better and I'm glad you have the health in order to work on the car and there's not been caught I don't even want to go down that road you can continue to enjoy your car! If you were closer I would offer to drive and get your seats

Somehow I have the feeling you will recover a little quicker than you imagine, you will get back to work on your 300K sooner than you thought, and it will all be in your rear view mirror by Spring.

Hi all,

 

The work on my rolling rebuilt of our “daily driver” 300K has come to a full stop and will not resume for several months.  At the end of July, without any prior issues, I went into serious heart failure at 65 years old.

 

Open heart Surgery which went well…until it became apparent that I am allergic to the blood thinker heparin. So instead of a week in the hospital it became a month. I got home yesterday and feel like crap. It will be months like 3 to 6 before I can work on anything.

 

My upholstery guy has the rear seats done, but there is no way I can drive for at least a month or two to get the car down to him to install them. The fronts still need to be done.

 

What a PITA…

 

I hope everyone else out there is well.
