Val,

Yes, soft top. Attached photos of a cruise night buddy's Last Call '23 Hellcat, ordered thru our [300 Club member] Bill Golling's CDJR dealership in the Detroit area. You can see the Last Call plaque in the engine bay.

Among my buddy's significant B-Body muscle car collection, he had purchased a black 300-G convertible from Joe Jordan, that he subsequently sold. And not he's passively looking for another G convertible.

John,

Have you seen a new Challenger convertible?  The conversion is roughly $20k.  That said they are beautiful and the tops work perfectly.  I’ve seen about half a dozen over the years in person and have looked at the fit and finish closely including top operation on two of them.  I was very impressed.
We have a 2009 SRT8 Challenger.  One of these days we likely will buy a convertible one.

Australia got the 300 wagon as a “Chrysler” not Dodge. Available in all engines. RHD made in Austria not USA.

Sample of some used ones here for info. https://www.carsales.com.au/ cars/?q=(And.(C.Make.Chrysler. _.Model.300c.)_.BodyStyle. Wagon.)

Basically, all have lots of mileage now and no real factory support anymore, so I won’t be buying.  Thought about buying one when they were new but didn’t really need one then and they were relatively expensive.

Cheers

Henry

John and Club,

You mention the Chrysler 300 late 2000s Dodge wagon. Been done! I saw several of these when I was in Athens, Greece in 2005 and 2010. I'm sure most were diesels with the brutal vehicle tax structure over there. Here’s the scoop -

And here are a couple photos of the Fantom B at our Fall 2011 Carmel Meet, with its top up. Our 300s were lining up at the hotel that morning to cruise over to Laguna Seca for our day at the races along with a couple parade laps in our Letter Cars. No, I didn't drive my 300-F to that Meet, but rode shotgun in Doug Warrener's red H coupe. Passing Dave Clelland's fresh stunningly restored triple black F convertible, with Dave creeping along and yelling "No Brakes! No Brakes!"

That Fantum B was having mechanical issues that morning and unfortunately didn't make it with us to the track that day. Interesting to see in Bob J's photos that it's a TorqueFlite car.

Much like the modern variant from this century, I wish Chrysler had  made factory convertibles of all years.  I  have thought about a 56 convertible 300B creation for years, right down to the vanity license plate, which would be "Wannabe"  or "WannaB".

If Chrysler had made a two door convertible 300 SRT8 some 20 years ago, there would be one in my stable today.  Instead I wound up making a 5.7 300 Wagon out of a Magnum R/T,  as that required relatively simple swapping of the nose as opposed to chopping of a top off a coupe.

There's a fanny for every seat.  No harm done as long as the vehicle in question is honestly represented for what it is.

All -

Please forgive me if this has already been a topic of discussion,  but has anyone noted this 55 300, serial number 3N551199, listed under this link: https://ebay.us/m/Sx4gI8?

It appears that factory parts were used to make this a convertible.  Does anyone have any background on this car?

Thanks,
