{Chrysler 300} 1962 Wiper Motor Replacement

I am pulling my wiper motor; as it won’t park anymore.
I have 1 step on the removal process that I need advice on….
(Trying to remove it by leaving the long Wiper Links in, thus separating the Motor Lever Arm from the Motor)

  • Removed Glove Box AND Speaker
  • Removed A/C Plastic Duct
  • Pulled apart the pair of Wiring Harnesses that go to the Motor (they had factory grease on the connectors, that had leaked out of the motor; yum!)
  • Removed Bolt from the Dash Brace Bracket
  • Removed 3 Nuts that secure the Motor Bracket to the Inner Firewall
  • Removed the 3/8” Nut & Star Washer that secures the Motor Lever Arm TO the pair of Wiper Links
  • And now for the advice needed…..
    • That threaded stud on the Motor Lever Arm….
    • How do I get it to wiggle and separate from the Motor?
    • I have sprayed it with WD40
    • I have tried to wiggle the Drivers Side Link
    • I have tried to (gently & with a large flat screwdriver) pry it a bit to separate itself from the Motor
    • Any advice?

Thanks!
Matt Allyn
