So sad. I remember when all the NAPA stores had machine shops out back. I would buy the control arm bushings from them, and they would press out the old and press in the new right there in the store for a nominal fee. You could even drop off a set of heads for a valve job and they would take care of that, too.

I was actually surprised when I found that my wife's PT Cruiser has very inexpensive 'loaded' control arms that come complete with bushings and ball joint installed. Totally not worth it to rebuild the originals.
