Re: {Chrysler 300} 2027 Club calendar photos

Now that we’re well into 2026, it’s time to begin planning our Chrysler 300 Club International’s 2027 Calendar – our 5^th Edition since our initial 2023 Edition. We’ve produced the previous 4 Editions we’ve featured photos of your Letter Cars in their restored or beautifully original condition. Each of these has sold out, thanks to your support!

We’re taking a twist in producing our Club’s 2027 Calendar. We’re featuring Unrestored Letter Carsof every year – 1955 thru 1965, plus 1970 Hurst 300. At our Fall 2025 Meet in Buffalo, we offered up this idea at our Business Meeting and, with a show of hands, it was unanimously received.

So PLEASE! Email photos of your unrestored Letter Car(s) to Dave and Kya Mason – forwardlook300@xxxxxxxxx

Photo Requirements –

Your Letter Car in mostly assembled condition – not in boxes spread across your shop
Spacing around the front and rear of the car in your photo, so we don’t lose any feature if we need to crop it
High resolution, in color
Landscape orientation
No window or outside car cards or signs
No people or pets
Factory hubcaps and tire styles – or factory steel wheels ok
Hoods, doors, trunks closed – as is possible
Factory paint colors
Factory interior patterns and colors
Good lighting - If your 300 is outdoors, shoot in the ‘Golden Hour’ - at dawn or dusk

Photo Suggestions –

Photo from interesting angles, highlighting your 300’s fins and curves and chrome
Turn the front wheels so you can see the wheel face
Change up the angle. slant uphill or downhill simply by tilting the camera angle
For added drama during twilight, turn the headlights on
Clear background clutter. A slight adjustment to camera position can make a big difference. unless, of course, you want power poles growing out of the roof
Shoot when sun is low. overhead sun casts shadows leaving the sides of the car in the dark
Generally, shoot photo with the sun from behind
Keep your background setting interesting -

We understand that some of the above requirements may not be possible with your 300 in its current unrestored condition, so use your judgment in optimizing your presentation.

This calendar is for you. We hope it will be interesting. You may be wondering how bad is too bad, for condition of the car. In general, to make the photos as appealing as possible to the widest club audience, the more complete the car is the better, but it can be rusty and dented. In short, condition isn’t as important as the car being in one piece. A body on a rotisserie would have less going for it as a calendar picture than a whole car that’s rusty or just missing some trim. A battle-worn survivor rusting in a field is fine, as is a very presentable driver in original unrestored condition. Cars in process with fenders and hood removed or cars in primer would be less ideal than cars that still display their Forward Look lines, colors and features.
