help me ID this 360

 First question, would a 360 from a motorhome have any type of different
 casting number system than passenger cars? The block in this 72 Dodge
 Motorhome clearly says 360 on it but the number on the drivers side down
 by the starter doesnt match up with  anything in my books, cant remember
 the whole number but it ends in 601. I believe this is probably a 76
 block , On the passenge side towards the alternator it clearly says
 5-11-76.  Is that right would that be a date ? Anybody know anything
 about these numbers
