cast replacement type pistons are o.k. for standard non-performance rebuilds.
hypereutectic cast pistons are a good choice for street performance and
street-strip activities. forged pistons should be the #1 choice for serious
performance. i use hypereutectics on my street performance engines without any
problems. the installation instructions for hypereutectics MUST be followed.
hypereutectics will make some noise when cold if they're put in a little loose.
