Larry, I think I got it right. I don't have the distributor or dampner on
the motor. I put in the lifters on #1 cyl and cranked the motor over, stopping
at tdc after the intake valve closed and the piston came up on compression.
At this point, the cam gear had the dot at 12 o'clock. It works, but I just
thought that it should be at 6 o'clock on the cam gear and 12 o'clock on the
crank gear. I'm just over working my brain I guess. I've worked on too many
ferd motors that were at the 6 and 12 o'clock positions. Thanks for your help.
