It's always made me wonder who Mopar used such high gear ratios in their non 
hi po cars.  Even the older cop cars had 2 something rears, and I've seen a 
2.00 rear.  Must like that top end.  My super heavy 77 Fury police car would do 
136 and it had a high 2 something rear.  My 84 318 4bbl Dip topped out at 117. 
 Musta had some lower gears as it accellerated very well for the 
weight/motor.  Joe
