Hi Wally,
   No, I didnt really want to remove the windings, I was just curious
   how somebody would, but all my motors are pressed in apparently, no
   screws.
    Dodge 330 at night , prowling the streets. Thats all i will tell u
    for now. i am going to make it look like the sixties ,  a "period
    piece".
    The parking deal makes sense on the  single speeds, just basically
    spin the wiper arm on the spindle.
    Boy that cam setup in the variable speed is pretty impressive, I sat
    there looking at that, asking myself " Now could i have thought this
    up?? ". I think engineering is fascinating.
    No, I am not doing a correct car, this is a street machine, so as
    long as it works I dont care. I was even wondering about fitting a
    later Mopar wiper motor ( i.e.- one i could just stroll down to the
    parts store and buy). As long as u could wire it in and hook up the
    linkage i cant figure out why it wouldnt work. a guy could work with
    that mounting bracket or just make a whole new one.   maybe it
    wouldnt work, but i just thought this might be a way to get a setup
    running cheaper, by using an off the shelf wiper motor. Any thoughts
    on this Wally? Think it would work?
   Hope alls well, the  weathers turning here, starting to cool off and 
   rain, need to clear out my barn so I can get the polara in out of the
   weather. My Chargers safe in the garage.
