Those Sears compressors are usually only single stage and can't keep up with
high demand tools like a pressure sandblaster. I have a 220 volt 5 horse 80
gal tank 175 PSI pressure model and it keeps up with sandblasting, a DA,
etc.

Neal, I have a new Craftsman oil free, 150 psi, 6 hp, 6.4 scfm @ 100 psi,
110 volt. It can barely keep up with sandblasting or orbital sanding. I
should have waited and got the 2 cyl model with a separate motor/belts.
These old
design types do the job. I need to find one out of an old gas station.
