I was all over that Earl. 
    The Journey thru Hemiland book did a pretty good job of explaining
    it all too. found out from that little book that the factory front 
    frame rails were left partially intact until the new ones were
    welded in then  the factory ones were cut away,for  rigidity/flex
    factor concerns.
