It sounds as if you are assuming the holes drilled in the rear drums are for balance? That seems logical but I don't know. There may be a 727 parts interchange reference book? Michael L. is still (I hope!) a member of this mail list and sees your message. He used to run a Mopar transmission rebuilding company.
