Dash Panel Resto



I'm getting back to working on restoring the dash panels for my 1964 440.  I want to start by stripping the finish completely.  But the gauge panel and radio panel both have clear plastic backing pieces that need to be removed first.  They are held on by what look like numerous plastic spot welds, four of which are seen in the picture below.  So, I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestion for how to undo these.
