Good points. Thanks Dan and thanks William for posting the link to the ad.
I saw that the ad lister uploaded 5 pages of notes that the owner kept as he put the car back together. It was fun to browse them and to recall all the work and persistence it takes to get one of these old Mopars in driving shape!
The notes show the Plymouth was purchased by previous owner from a U-Pull-It junkyard for $100, thus the salvage title. Also that the Plymouth at some point sat 12 years in a field and originally was a 361 3-on-the-tree.
The last owner purchased the vehicle in 1999 and apparently recently died (RIP) and the Plymouth was listed on BaT by the California Auto Museum in Sacramento for the family, who were generally unfamiliar with the Plymouth.
