Here's the reply I got from Gary Goers on the tail gate stuff. I was
hoping that all the wagons from the 62-65 era
(A,B, and C body) would use the same type of window channel and tail
gate weather-strip seals ? does any one
know what similarities there might be?
thanks

Subject: Re: 62-65 wagon tail gate rubber
Hi,
I jsut finished working out seals for the tailgates for the '60-'64
wagons (C bodies only) Have flocked channel that will work for the
body where the tailgate glass slides into and made the molded ends for
the tailgate weatherstrip. Haven't done anything on the B body wagons
as I don't have any samples. I'm pretty sure I could come up with
something. A body tailgate weatherstrip is no problem as my standard
strip which I use for the C bodies will work fine. The upper channel
on these is a real problem. So far, salvaging a good used one is
about the only thing to do. Not sure if '65 C body wagon tailgate
seals are the same as earlier ones.
Hope this helps,
Gary

Gary or Conrad,
Just wondering if you guys have any thing rubber wise that fits
around the tailgate area,
tailgate window and the rear 1/4 windows of the 62-65 Dodge,
Chrysler, Plymoth wagons/suburban?
I think the wagons from this era are all the same in the areas where
the wheatherstripping rubber
and window channel goes although I'm not a 100% sure. Please let me
know if you have any of this stuff
or have any info and I'll let the other wagon owners from our group
on the web know.
thanks
