The only way to change direction of a single phase 220 motor is to change
the factory field wiring leads inside the motor, if you hook the new cord up to
the factory connection points, all will be well, and as far as color, the
last couple of compressors that I have bought , they have all been color blind
and did not know that I had used panther pink and candy apple red as the
supply wire colors
