i can't speak for the poly, but in the instructions it said
to lift the dirvers side to install, i have a 440 with mini
starter and the headers slid right in without jacking the
motor, i think it would have with a full size starter too.
just make sure the car is high enough to get a good
angle on the headers.

I lifted the driver's side when I installed my poly TTI's. No problems
whatsoever.
I do have a question on engine position. Did everyone end up with a 3"
difference (for poly engine) on their left/ right measurements? I had a
4"
difference on mine. I had 14 inches from the passenger framerail to
crank
centerline and 18 inches on the driver's side. I'm wondering now if I
might have
some other issues. Like maybe the brackets for the engine mounts are
swapped
side to side or something weird like that. The headers fit just fine as
it
is but I don't think the driver's side header would fit (would hit on
steering box) if the engine were moved one inch to the driver's side. I'm
really
curious about this. Matter of fact, I'm going to make a trip to the JY
tomorrow to check a '65 poly car that's there.
