A local dealer called me to look at a Dart GT he had taken in. Wanted my
opinion of value I guess. Anyway, here is the deal. I think the car is a '62
because of the concave grille. taillights read '65. Car is a very original 2 dr,
no post, /6 (not aluminum block) 3 speed. Tinted glass and some of dealer
installed a/c. Condenser and compressor are gone. Didn't think to look to see if
it had p/s or p/b. Bucket seats.
?
Car has been in inside storage since '88. Window stickers indicate it was
originally a CA car. There is no important rust, floors and frame rails solid,
inner fenders and cowl fine. No dents.
?
Defects, general age. Some surface rust and poor bumper chrome. ?Interior has
been reupholstered in spots. Headliner very good.
?
Don't know the price, I expect a very negotiable $1400.00.
?
Don't know if it runs, no battery in it.
?
Didn't have my camera, anyone interested let me know.
?
Wouldn't surprised if there is no title. But, from inspection sticker I think
it has been registered in Massachusetts.
?
The car lot is Loony Tunes, owner is Chris. Don't know the number.
